Something Media LLC. Founded in the summer of 2007 by Aaron Brown and Pat Fowler. We created this business for...you. We provide premium services at unbeatable prices to deliver maximum satisfaction to our customers. Something Media is built on the foundations of great service, creativity, and the love of the job itself. For a long time Something Media staff (Aaron, Pat, Ilya, Rob, etc.) had many side projects in the multi-media realm. It was not until James Madison Memorial Battle of the Bands 2007, that so many of these boys would work one project. Brad, Aaron, and Rob all ran sound while Ilya took pictures. Everyone seems to have different ties to the fields Something Media provides service to; and everyone is extremely proficient at their primary fields.
Aaron Brown President / Sound Engineer Aaron started this business with one premise. He wanted to find an efficient way to unite his friends and their skills. Moreover, he wanted to create something big, and he wanted to do it right. Before Something Media was created, Aaron worked on many project with friends under no official name. Although he started doing live sound for his own interest and the interest of his band, Aaron found himself becoming more immersed into the live sound industry. He began buying PA speakers, and microphones, which then lead to recording equipment as well. His knowledge, equipment, and range of field will continue to expand over the years to come. +1.608.347.7100 abrown@something-media.com Pat Fowler Co-Founder / Photographer Pat is in his second year of College, majoring in the arts. His young creative mind allows him to think outside of the box with ease. As Co-Founder, he has seen the birth of Something Media, and he is able to watch its growth. His roles in the company go anywhere from constructive criticism on a project, to photography, to digital media, and much more. Brad Butterfield Sound Engineer / Sound Scientist Brad's ability to take sound and turn it into an amplified art form still mystifies people today. "A lot can be done when we put our equipment together," says Aaron. And that is exactly what they did. Brad and Aaron got together for the first time at Memorial's Battle of the Bands 2007. Brad provided great insight and enthusiasm for the young crew. His leadership has helped pave the way for Something Media staff members today. email to be set up shortly....	Brandon Acker Sound Engineer / Rock Master Brandon is 17-years-old, and full of great positive energy. Nothing is greater to him than delivering the best sound for any group. With a positive attitude and good communication skills Brandon's talents as an engineer exceed that of many. He teamed up with Aaron early on, during Roulette Notations Album "Theories of Tension" (still in progress). He provides more then just a beautiful studio space. Ilya Karasin Graphic Design / Photographer / Programmer Ilya and Aaron have been working together for years, and he is in fact a major reason for Something Media getting started. In previous years Aaron would contract out to Ilya for his amazing website layouts and graphic design. So without a question Ilya was a natural candidate for this position. His knowledge is vast and covers just about anything technical. He hosts his own podcast called Hack My Toaster, a cleaver spoof on the Diggnation series. He has a good eye for composition and a real down to Earth attitude. He is not afraid to speak his mind especially on the things he is passionate about. A good sense of humor coped with a great work ethic, Ilya truly is what Something Media stands for. email to be set up shortly.... Rob Rodriguez Sound Engineer / Photography Rob is a fun loving person who truly enjoys music. He is a quick learner who is naturally intrigued in live sound. His first major project with the crew was at Memorial Battle of the Bands 2007. Since then he has run sound in many shows. Covering for Aaron in the last minute or being an extra hand in an operation, Rob is an essential part of the Something Media crew. email to be set up shortly....
